With 14 feature films and 6 television series to her name, Grace represents the best of East meets West. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Grace has acted in all three languages on screen. Starring in award winning films and blockbusters in the Asia Pacific region, she was awarded 'Best Actress' at the Los Angeles HollyShorts Film Festival in 2011 for her portrayal of vigilante Ava Chen in Jennifer Thym’s BLOODTRAFFICK.

 

Grace's best known English language projects include: INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE, the long-awaited sequel to the 1996 blockbuster, directed by Roland Emmerich; co-starring as Anna in the romantic drama LOST FOR WORDS; Search and Rescue team medic Claire in the sci-fi thriller INFINI; and the Gemini Female warrior in martial arts epic THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS.

 

Committed to bringing authenticity to every role, Grace often performs her own stunts. She trained under Hong Kong action director Corey Yuen's team prior to filming MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS and performed a staggering 95% of her own stunts on that film - earning genuine admiration and respect from the stunt crew and production team.

 

Grace's dedication and versatility is unsurpassed by her peers, whether it be on screen or the red carpet, or as ambassador for international brands.

Born in Taiwan of Cantonese descent and calling Sydney, Australia home since the age of 7, Grace Huang possesses the unique blend of sensitivity and confidence of that cross-cultural upbringing.

 

Grace holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney, with Majors in Accounting & Commercial Law. A thirst for life experience and a firm belief that ‘Life is too short to be just one thing’, means that Grace is also a scriptwriter and entrepreneur. She is certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a Graduate of Pearls, Graduate of Diamonds and Coloured stones.

With acting projects and experiences spanning Taiwan, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York and Australia, Grace has been fortunate enough to have called each of these locations home. She is currently based in Sydney, Australia where she is close to family and writing her first feature film script.
